Adirondack Expressions Art Camp

In the summer, Transitions is proud to present the
Adirondack Expressions Art Camp, a joint project with the
Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts.

The camp is for young adults aged 16-27 who have learning differences and want to learn about art. Students can choose to stay overnight at the camp or attend just for the day. The activities, projects and social events here will promote each camper’s unique talents, creativity and self-esteem.

During this one-week session, students participate in exciting Adirondack activities and outings and work with experienced artists on fun and educational art projects. At the end of the week, an exhibition of the art created here will show off each camper’s creativity to parents, friends and family. With two classes per day in disciplines such as painting, woodworking, cooking, photography and paper crafts, there is something at the Adirondack Expressions Art Camp for every budding artist.
